Text & Translation – John 12:26
- Latin: Qui mihi ministrat, me sequitur, et ubi ego sum, illic et minister meus erit.
- English: If a man would serve me, let him follow me, wherever I am, my servant will be there too.
Musical Musings
- #chantnerdlatin: H may be silent when sung, but some musicians (like me!) will treat it like a wet “k”, so pronouncing ‘mihi’ like “mee-kee” instead of “mee-hee”
Resonant Reflections
- What is the ‘grain of wheat’ that has died in your life, or that you know you need to bury? Can you imagine how the Lord might use that surrender to bear great fruit?
