What a weekend! Held in July in Rome, NY, Woodstock 1999 was meant to be a celebration of peace, love and music. The festival was anything but peaceful and lead to a lack of respect between the venue and the festival goers. They experienced hot weather, lack of shade, overpriced food and water, sexual assault, looting, vandalism and fires! But hey, Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit crowd surfed on plywood and got the crowd hyped up which apparently lead to the demise of the entire weekend - so said the festival promoters. (Insert eye roll)

Grab your disposable cameras and let’s go back to a time when Kid Rock demanded to be pelted with water bottles to make a statement, high school and college aged kids were first introduced to capitalism and the security team did it all for the nookie.
