Chant: Introit, Palm Sunday

Text & Translation – Phillipians 2: 8-9
Latin: Christus factus est pro nobis obediens usque ad mortem, mortem autem crucis. Propter quod et Deus exaltavit illum et dedit illi nomen, quod est super omne nomen.
English: Christ Christ became obedient for us unto death, even to the death, death on the cross. Therefore God exalted Him and gave Him a name which is above all names.
Musical Musings
- #chantnerdnotation: The Do moves down a ledger line halfway through
the piece, because the range of notes goes uncommonly far outside the range reflected by the four lines on the chant staff.
Resonant Reflections – Guest: Liz Owen, www.lizowenmusic.com
Questions:
1) Are we observant of where God wants us?
2) Do we actively ask God for our deepest desires?
3) Are we obedient when the answer is no?
