Pearson before we go to break and are then joined in-studio by Scholar-Artist-Activist Dr. Su'ad Abdul Khabeer who talks with us about her upcoming performance (June 7th) at the Chicago Hip-hop Theater Festival--she even shares a piece of the work she'll be doing at the show. We close out the show by discussing the Sapelo Square led effort, Believers Bail Out (an effort to end mass incarceration), and its effort to post bail for Muslims who are unable to do so on their own and awaiting trial in Cook County Jail.
