EP 54 Disciplinary Ministry On Errant Members of The Clergy - did you know about this ministry few discuss? The Faithful have a right to know!
As we progress through the Rite of Sodomy - Homosexuality and the Roman Catholic Church, we take a short diversion to reconfirm the place of discipline of clergy, that means criticism of the clergy, this is a ministry and has a historical existence in the Catholic Church. We begin here to learn about the place and legitimacy of disciplining and criticizing clergy.
The deep church retains for it's Advantage the external trappings of religion while pursuing an agenda of error and moral corruption.
The conversion to Christ the King, is the answer, the Truth in person, who sets us free from the accumulating slaveries of our time.
In this conversion we must have the courage to tear down the culture of secrecy and publicly confess the truths we have kept hidden.
Amicus Plato sed magis amica veritas [ I am a friend of Plato, but more a friend of truth]. This maxim, attributed to Aristotle, used also by Plato towards Socrates and later Cicero, is explained by St. Thomas Aquinas in Sententia Libri Ethicorum, book 1, Lectio 6, nn 4-5 as follows:
"That truth should the preferred to friends he proves in this way. He is the greater friend for whom we ought to have greater consideration. Although we should have friendship for both truth and our fellow man, we ought rather to love truth because we should love our fellow man especially on account of truth and virtue.... Now truth is a most excellent friend of the sort to whom the homage of honor is due. Besides, truth is divine thing, for it is found first and chiefly in God. He concludes therefore, that it is virtuous to honor truth above friends."
