In the summer of 1913,  London Jeweler Max Mayer was in the process of selling the world's most valuable necklace - a string of 61 flawless pink pearls worth twice as much as the Hope Diamond.  When the world's greatest thief learned of the necklace, he sprang into action to take it for himself.   This episode is a super fun story of gentleman thieves, spycraft, and the "Mona Lisa of Necklaces."
