How do you think men feel about the statement, “Happy Wife, Happy Life?"

What if we, women, had to deal with something similar… maybe something like, “Happy Husband, Happy Household,” and it was up to US to make sure our husbands were happy, or else?

What an unpleasant thought, and I think I feel bad for our husbands for having burdened them with that the thought, that our happiness was THEIR responsibility.

What about the fact that our happiness is 100% our responsibility and no one else’s? Now there’s an empowering thought, don’t you think?

Only we know what makes us truly happy, and if we have the ability to harness that happiness and bring that to the marriage… and by doing so we will indeed be happy wives with happy lives.

Let’s not outsource our happiness to others, especially let’s not put that heavy burden on our husbands’ shoulders from here on out, not anymore!
