2022 is now in full swing and the news and rumours are beginning to flow. PlayStation 3 games have begun appearing on the PS5 store, sparking more rumours that Sony’s new Game Pass equivalent will finally usher in proper backwards compatibility. 

But of course xbox has stolen the headlines this week by announcing that it’s reached an agreement to buy Activision Blizzard for $68.7 in what may be one of the biggest gaming deals of all time.
