Appearing in his 50th professional pantomime in 2019, David Burton tells me how being the son of a Tiller Girl and comedian gave him a good grounding to get into the business. We talk about writing comedy, his diagnosis of cancer and how he beat it and what was worse to work with, either an elderly animal or a troublesome actor.
