This is one of my new favourite quotes and definitely applies to what I'm talking about today..... Mastery and Deep Practice.

We live in an impatient world and often we expect to be able to obtain what we want very quickly, while this may be useful in some sense, it is antithetical to our need to obtain true mastery.
