Ian Finley is a professional actor, playwright, and educator. As the Chair of Fine Arts at Research Triangle High School, he has seen first-hand the benefits of exposing young people to the arts and how arts programs enhance science, technology, engineering, and math or STEM curriculums and project-based learning. Finley’s mother was a working actress and although he found himself performing at an early age, it wasn’t until high school that he says he truly found his calling.
