What is the beckoning of the unknown? The word beckoning means: to make a gesture to encourage someone to come nearer or follow. The unknown is a constant presence and we usually fear the unknown, but how can we instead allow it to beckon us forward. I was inspired to chat about this concept through my own musings and through examples coming forward in my life right now after reading a beautiful passage on Mystic Mamma from Deepak Chopra: We all experience the new and the unknown, but few of us see the unknown as a force that is beckoning us. The unknown contains clues to another reality. “What are those clues? They change every moment, but if you look closely at any image the world presents to you, more of your own self will start peering back. “The seeming randomness of events will begin to resolve into form and meaning, as if a part of yourself is saying, ‘I’m here. Can you find me?’ On this episode I describe my time at the Old Mill Manor in Almonte and the beautiful stone manor I enjoyed with my boyfriend for his birthday. And I also talk about our time snowboarding at this cool groovy 70's ski lodge called Mount Pakenham. I then dive into the spring equinox and spring arrival as nature as a spiritual process and how it relates to the unknown. I chat about the long runs that have led to this spiritual inquiry and looking at nature through the lens of the unknown as I run in Chaffey's Lock and the lakes of the Rideau Canal region. I also dive into my human design and how knowing my energy type has refreshed my sense of creation and how to best navigate life based on my design. Knowing my specific design has reminded me to find patience in the unknown and allowing life to present things for me to respond to. I also share the insight that came to me recently on the home/cabin I am looking for and how to work with the frequency of that place and allow it to find me. This perfectly goes with my strong interest in interior design and creating spaces and how I have been loving the HGTV show Home Again with the Fords and the nuggets of wisdom I am learning from Leanne Ford, how she uses what she has, reimagines spaces and problem solving in creative design. This is correlated to the creativity found in nature and ultimately how nature is a creative living spiritual process.
