She is half Syrian and half Libyan. She is currently directing and writing her first documentary film about the disappearance of her father, Mansur Rashid Kikhia, who was the peaceful opposition leader to Qaddafi’s regime, and her mother’s 19 year search to find him. Jihan is currently in the editing phase of the film, which is aimed to finish in 2022. Tune in as we discuss; Mansur Rashid Kikhia’s legacy and Jihan’s quest to reconnect with her identity.
