Today we discuss how our relationship almost died an early death due to an issue of pride and prejudice. We also discuss how the themes in Jane Austen’s book “Pride and Prejudice” relate to ideas found in the pages of the Bible. As mentioned in Austen’s book, it seemed unjust that a woman should be put out onto the streets just because there was no son in the family to receive the inheritance. If the British society was a reflection of Judeo-Christian ethic, was God favoring men over women?
