Back in the year 1944, the town of Mattoon Illinois was under siege from a mysterious stranger.

No one was safe from the Mad Gasser and his noxious gas. 

People were waking in the middle of the night, unable to move. 

The town was on edge for the span of two weeks, while the police and townspeople were unable to find the perpetrator of these heinous attacks. 

Then, as suddenly as they began, the were over.
