Comin' in hot with CHT number 3!

Six week challenges.. If you have social media, then you've seen an advertisement that says something along the lines of "Get ripped in just six weeks!" "30 day six pack abs!" "Spring Break / Beach Body Program!" All of these.. every single one.. sends a completely false message to the consumer that it's ok to sit on your ass all year. All you need is a month to get the body you've always wanted. What they don't tell you is that, if you don't have a LIFESTYLE change, 4-6 weeks is a complete waste of your time and money. Is it a good place to START your lifestyle change? Sure - why not?! But if you don't change your daily habits FOR GOOD, you're in for a huge disappointment. After those 6 weeks are up, you're going to fall right back into the same old shit you've always done - nothing. Sitting around all year, waiting on spring to get close to "get in shape."

Wouldn't it be much more fulfilling to actually work on yourself all year round? Is it more challenging? Absolutely. Is it worth it? ABSOLUTELY! Not only that, but if you work on your health and fitness year round, you won't have to do a six week sprint to look good. It's alright to slack here and there, but if you keep your fitness in check and stay within a reasonable range to the body you desire year round, you won't have to make any drastic changes to improve your body composition. You won't have to crush your body every day to burn all the fat you've held on to all year. You won't have to spend hundreds of dollars to try and lean out for the warmer months. All it'll take is making a few tweaks to your diet, maybe increase the intensity of workouts routine a little, and boom - results. 

Fitness moto: Stay ready so you don't have to get ready. It's literally that simple. 

You'll feel better all year. You'll save money. You'll have more energy. And your confidence will be with you for more than a month out of the year.
