In this episode of our college tour we're talking with Dr Prairie Burgess from Concordia University.
Dr Prairie Burgess has been in the higher education field for over 20 years, working as a Student Affairs professional, an adjunct instructor of Communication, and now as a full-time Professor of Leadership. She says "I love this opportunity to help empower college students as they determine their big why, and to watch them develop the skills, knowledge and understanding to move their life forward and better their communities."
In her non-work life, she spends a good amount of time volunteering with her kids' schools, local community, and Girl Scouts. Her family enjoys spending time within the amazing National Parks System and love to take road trips to explore the beauty of nature.
