Meet Marla:
Marla Isackson is the founder and CEO of Ossa, the industry's only Indie women’s podcast network and two-sided marketplace connecting over 1300 women-hosted podcasts with women-focused brands, reaching over 12MM monthly. She helps womxn podcaster micro-influencers monetize their content with brands interested in connecting with hyper-targeted audiences.
She spent over 25 years in the corporate world, working for American Express, Citibank, and Barnes & Noble, before deciding to take the leap into entrepreneurship, where she founded Like a Boss Girls, an empowerment and content platform for women. In Q1 of 2019, OSSA was created in response to a problem Marla encountered as a podcaster- how to market, produce, and monetize content.
After years of working in competitive environments as a senior female executive, Marla believes that women's voices must be heard, amplified, and rewarded. She is passionately committed to advancing women's initiatives and considers podcasting as a powerful communication platform with the power to elevate underrepresented voices on a global scale.
