As women, we need to rediscover who we are outside of being mothers, what we look like, and our achievements. 

Kids grow up and lead their own lives. Our bodies shift and undergo changes as we age. And, our trophies and medals won’t be there for us during the lowest points of our lives.

In this episode, I’m joined by Kristi Overton Johnson. Kristi is one of the most decorated women water skiers of all time and a world record holder from 1992-2010. A series of health battles in the past led her to reevaluate her life and change course. Now, she found her calling as a ministry leader serving inmates.

We talk about the importance of persistence and positivity, her journey from a professional skiing career to prison ministry, and many more.
