We are kicking back in true summer form to discuss some of our favorite 'I survived' stories. Being the true crime junkies that we are, it wasn't easy to pick just one (each!) but we managed to narrow it down to the most amazing survival stories that have stuck with us through the years.

Today Joy starts us out by recounting an amazing story of heroism and survival at the Salt Lake City Library. You can listen with Lissi as Joy lays out all the details of the man who held many people hostage in the library and how one man was brave enough to put himself in harm's way to help the others in danger.

Next week we will be back with installment two, when Lissi will share her favorite stories of survival and bravery.
