What is love? Baby don’t hurt me! So glad to share my first podcast collab with dear friends, Shawn & Joshua from the Luan Luan Lai podcast (a legit funny-borderline-questionable Singapore-based comedy podcast)!
In this episode, we bring in their lovely wives and the 4 of them (Shawn + Promise, Joshua + Dawn) take turns to give me marriage and dating advice. Even though each of them are much younger than I am, they’re wise beyond their years!

Some things that I ask in this episode:
- How long did you date before getting married ah? How did you know when things were getting serious?
- How and why did you decide to get married to THIS person?
- Have you guys dated other people what were some red flags that made u go, OK, I DO NOT want to spend my life with this person?
- What is something that you wish you knew about yourself or each other before getting married?
- What’s some of your biggest differences or arguments in your relationship so far, and how do you guys resolve them?

“Unspoken expectations are not real expectations”
“The family and relationships around us affect our expectations and perspectives in relationships more than we know”
I also ask Dawn & Joshua to share their stories and lessons learnt, as Josh battled panic attacks and anxiety through their relationship and marriage. Thanks for openly and bravely sharing your life with me guys!
