Every group has the responsibility to advance their interests. But are we advancing ours? This conversation is necessary because:

-our neighborhoods are a reflection of what we think of ourselves.

-our communities should not be a place from where our children (and we) want to make it out.

-education is for function, not status.

-working cooperatively works.

-we must help self, first, before helping others.

-we must end dependency.
