Lucas is the Vice President at Farm Credit West, a second generation farmer, treasurer of the Kern County Farm Bureau, and is on the Kern County Fair Board as chairman of the finance committee. Lucas grew up farming with his father on their family farm, raising steer in 4-H, graduated from Stanford, and has tenure in finance at Farm Credit West.
