What’s up y’all, Welcome/welcome back to the Hood Soft Life Podcast. In this episode I am taking you through a season of struggle I am currently in and what I am doing to get myself through this season. The path is never linear and the whole point of this platform is to create a space where I can show you in real time what it looks like to move out of the mentality and the space of the Hood and get to where I want to be. I do want tot let you know that there is a trigger warning for this episode. For a small portion of the episode I do discuss suicide and suicidal ideation and I completely understand if that is a trigger for people so if you need to sit this one out I understand and support what you need💜 ✨Remember that it is okay to let yourself feel what you’re feeling. If you are feeling angry, sad, stuck, etc that is okay. Feel that, but also know when it’s time to wrap it up and move on towards positivity. How are you going to get yourself through this season because it is only temporary. ✨Here are some things that I’m doing to help me get through this season:
- Express gratitude
- Journaling
- Going to the gym
- Talk to loved ones
- Affirm to yourself that the season is temporary
✨Another key tip: Reevaluate the goals you set for 2024. Are you falling off? Create some small action steps you can take toward those goals. If you did not create any goals at the beginning of the year it’s never too late to set some goals boo. What do you want out of 2024? How can you start taking small action steps today? This is a little ack that is helping me push through this season of feeling stuck. ✨Affirmation for the week: I am not stuck. I will achieve my goals and aspirations and I will have my dream life. 💜If you’re at a point in your life where you’re feeling stuck please know this experience is only temporary, you being in this position is only temporary, and this is the green light.
