I was a trusted freelance cameraman and I made a full-time living for many years working for whichever network called me first.

There were trusted freelances near network bureaus. No matter where I went, I would see the same people.

I said "We must belong to the most exclusive club! I mean, our meetings are never pre-announced for time and place, yet we all show up!
