I have a conversation with Dr Dirk Hermann, the CEO of the Solidarity trade union. Hermann completed his doctorate in industrial sociology, with affirmative action as its theme. We will be discussing Solidariteit's new private Afrikaans technical college Sol-Tech, how it was funded, the philosophy behind it, and how building our own institutions is the way forward.
