Something that was drilled into our heads as a young adult was that if you are not executing with precision with your learning, development or growth then you would fall behind. The thought of falling behind was something that hung over some of our heads like a rain cloud that we could not shake. Fear plagued our minds that we were always late or not where we were supposed to be in life. Why was that? Well maybe you were allowing yourself to continuously think about all the ways you could fall behind, what would happen if you did, and how would you ever live with the consequences of digging yourself out of that hole. From another perspective you could have allowed the plague of thoughts to keep you stuck in a perpetual loop of go-go-go, this stemming from the idea that if you are always making moves than there is no room for you to be left behind because you are taking every opportunity to look and feel busy no matter how productive you are or are not in reality. Executing in the big moments is something that everybody at the end of the day wants to be able to rise up to the challenge of, the difference is those who are looking for those moments and those who look to avoid them. If you are always looking for that opportunity to be superman in front of an audience, then what does that say about how you view the rest of the world and from a different perspective what validation are you in need of?
Saddle up with the gang as Zack, Derry, and Jeff look to tackle how they have battled with the execution of their life, work, and growth. Join the guys on this adventure into the world Execution, why do we ask if you can make it out with no scars? May be a bold statement to say but have you ever met someone who could honestly say that they do not have 1 battle scar from life itself? Mentally, physically, or emotionally? How many of the guy's scars will we find out about during this next exciting installment of the Dismount Podcast?
