Jeffrey W. Muttart is currently the Director of Research and Consulting Services for Crash Safety Research Center, LLC. He is also an Adjunct Instructor at Northwestern University Center for Public Safety where his research interests include pedestrian walking speeds, vehicle acceleration choice, nighttime recognition distance, headlight illumination related to nighttime recognition, driver perception-response times in emergency situations, and many other items such as the influence of alcohol, fatigue, age, and drugs on a driver's response.
