Today we'll have a bit of an in-depth conversation around long term care, extended care, and care that you need beyond just hospital care, long term disability.
This type of care usually occurs more so at the end of our lives, and this is a hard conversation to have. Not everybody wants to talk about these things that are happening in our lives.
Add to that the overarching cost that it takes to be able to provide care which is not something that is covered in any of our health care plans.
Now, you may have skilled nursing home care and hospice care that is covered, but most of them are not going to cover long-term care.
And I'm going to specifically talk about it in terms of longer-term instances where we might need care when it comes to memory care.
In today's episode, we're specifically going to get into the nitty-gritty on what elements are available for you to plan around, and why it's so important for you to plan earlier rather than later.
I will start to break down the costs of care what you can do about it, and what types of solutions are out there for the rising costs of health care needed at the end of our lives.
