They dive into topics that have churned up misinformation and determine whether they believe the underlying story or conflict is legit or, in fact, bullshit. This week, they discuss the recent mashing up of reporting and twitter outrage that led to confusion about whether children were being separated from their families at the border while seeking asylum and whether they were truly lost. Their second topic is the recent controversy around Roseanne’s racist tweets and subsequent cancellation of her sitcom, the effect it had on Samantha Bee’s show and commentary, and former Daily Show host Jon Stewart’s advice on how to handle such responses.

Also, Jacqueline Soller, Bryan Bruchman, and J. McVay discuss the newly released movie, Hearts Beat Loud, directed by Brett Haley and starring Nick Offerman and Kiersey Clemons.
