Educators Among Us

Ep. 61 - I Told You Once

Listen Later

Our desire as educators is to communicate expertly in a manner that grows trust and inspires the desired responses. That means we must master a whole new level of habits and skills because communication doesn’t just happen. It involves listening, sensing, and talking in order for us to adapt our methods to the way they perceive and process the world.

Quotes:

Robert Frost: “Half the world is composed of people who have something to say and can’t, and the other half who have nothing to say and keep on saying it.”

Anne Morrow Lindbergh: “Good communication is just as stimulating as black coffee, and just as hard to sleep after.”

Bible Verse:

Proverbs 12:18 “Careless words stab like a sword, but the words of wise people bring healing.”
