The Mental Mom Show

Ep. 64 Kicks Get Chicks

Listen Later

Megs bringing segments back.Ya.

She’s reigning herself in after veering off on so many tangents last week.

Meg shares her favorite ADHD related High Five Moment yet: let’s just say Casey had to apologize for once - finally.

And, for the record - turns out Casey is NOT a serial killer - Meg reveals the truth behind why he’s been disappearing for hours into the storage unit/garage. Also, now that Casey’s home more during the day working on his photo business, he’s learning that Meg has a secret “mom life.” Find out how Meg is living on the edge...and why she says her secret activity is “like skydiving for the suburban mom.”

And for the show topic: Casey and Meg not only share their love of all things 80s style - but explore the human behavior of characters from one of their new fave shows: Cobra Kai. Casey and Meg discuss the OTHER side of this well-known story. Lots of human behavior lessons learned from the re-telling of the Karate Kid saga. Let’s be real: who doesn’t love an 80s montage scene (or like 12.)

Sidenote: Meg reflects on why she was so angry about Facebook and birthday posts on the last episode: anger is usually a mask for fear - and Meg’s scared of the 600 ft robot made in Japan. Just listen - it will all come together and make sense in Meg’s usual ADHD “squirrel” storytelling manner.
