It happens when you are waiting for the subway… or waiting line at the grocery store… or waiting to hear if you got the part… or waiting for the second date after the REALLY hot first date. DELAY. That’s right. Isn’t it fascinating that once you know what you want, you want it RIGHT AWAY? What is our issue with waiting? Why do we get so frustrated with process? Why is the delay essential and what is its function? How can we learn to accept the “delay” and actually use it for our growth, maturity, and wisdom? And….most importantly, can it be JOYFUL?
