If you're working on building a business, it's incredibly difficult to know if or when you should get a job.
Do I get a full time job?
Do I cobble together multiple hustles?
What if it drains me and I don't have energy to work on my biz?
What kind of jobs do I even apply for?
For me... there isn't a simple solution to the "should I get a job" question.
Or rather, I should say that I FEEL that there is not a simple solution.
It feels tricky & difficult to me because I haven't had to think this way for a long time. (Or ever really - looking for a job coming out of college was pretty straightforward.)
The solution isn't quite as simple as "just get a job" because:
- I'm "not marketable" (in quotations because it's a story I tell myself)
- Our expenses are high (details as to why within...)
- FT job vs multiple hustles (considering time, energy, flexibility, etc.) I'm curious to know your thoughts or feedback.
Have you experienced these moments in the past? If so, how have you approached them? If not, what might you be considering in this situation?
Given what you know of me (personality + skillset + job history) what are some insights you have for me, if any?
Got a job for me? Or know someone that does? I'll take that too! LOL.
Thanks for hanging out friend.
Much love, Benjamin
