Teachers hate to think they are teaching to "The Test", but I believe if we really think about it the biggest test is life. Maybe we should be teaching to the test, the test of life. If each teacher took on perspective that they would try to teach their curriculum with a relevant lens of how it affects our students lives then we might accomplish much more throughout the school year.
