The gift of teaching is one of the most prominent gifts of the Holy Spirit. It is so well known because it is one of the most publicly used gifts. One of Paul’s most promising disciples was a young man named Timothy who had a gift for teaching. In the first of two letters written to his young apprentice, Paul teaches Timothy the important foundation of good teaching.
