I’m one of those people that love basketball, but I absolutely despise hearing perspective on CERTAIN THINGS from non-athletes. If you didn’t lace up or play some kind of sport on a professional level and even in high school, I have a hard time listening to your opinion. Only because I feel like you don’t understand. It’s the equivalent of supervisors in positions when they haven’t even done the job. They lack understanding because they haven’t experienced. It can be like this in relationships too. Is it benefiting us from getting relationship advice from the unsuccessful person who is dating or the person who is married, or the person not married.
