EP 65- Rachel Thomas, Founder of Exercise Your Soul: Finding the Truth in Yourself

Listen Later

Traumas are the things that hold us accountable for who we choose to be. We can allow them to take over our lives or we can deal with them head on and use them as a life lesson.

Rachel is the CEO and Founder of Exercise Your Soul, Transformation Coach, Speaker, and a Mother. Rachel found herself as a Relationship Expert by providing for her clients by helping them face their true emotions by confronting them head on and accepting them.

Rachel has a large variety of experience in her field, but what Rachel addresses with Jeff is the biggest question we all ask ourselves. Why is it easier to help other people going through a situation than it is to help ourselves? The pressure of trauma. Rachel talks about what made her realize why her first marriage didn’t work. It wasn’t her husband, it was herself not being clear about her emotions. The biggest misconception is we tell ourselves we are fine, happy, nothing is wrong. It’s about digging up what's really bothering you. You can’t love others without loving yourself.

Favorite Quote:

“It’s that energy of like yes I am embracing life to the fullest and it doesn’t matter what the context is, it doesn’t matter what the content is. I am showing up as my authentic self with what is true for myself in this moment waiting, waiting like I'm doing it. I am doing this life thing.”
