A Scottish tree has won tree of the year for the UK. It is an ash.
A local fellow from Santa Cruz High has given the proceeds of a lemonade sale to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Over the years he has had other lemonade sales for the same purpose. All together he has raised 27,000 dollars for Second Harvest.
