Meg’s in a funk and she’s using humor to get out of it. Especially humor triggered by what she’s now calling “Casey-isms.” Meg confesses to Casey that she has a notepad file on her iphone specifically for “things to make fun of Casey about on the show…” This week she teases him about his inability to allow her to ignore his “Michael-Scott-ish-14-year-old-boy-jokes.” Apparently, until Meg acknowledges the “joke” he repeats them - slightly louder each time. Meg shares how she uncovered what’s been keeping her from losing weight - it’s a whole thing - including hormones and adult acne. Buckle up - she’s riding an emotional rollercoaster. Meg takes a break from her moodiness to acknowledge that Casey has been really supportive lately and seems to have a more in depth understanding of mental health and how it affects Meg and the girls - especially since living together now for 1.5 years. As for the actual show topic - wait is that a thing? Meg shares about a book called “Think Like a Monk” written by Jay Shetty. See link below. She’s only on chapter 3 but thinks it’s very genuine so far and he doesn’t seem to be selling anything super expensive so - definitely worth a shot. Anything to help us through 2020.
Enjoy!
