Before we get into the topic at hand, we have to address the bear in Central Park. Clearly one of the most pressing stories of our day!
Turning to a serious note, how should we think about the growing antisemitism in and around the Christian Nationalist movement?
Is it really rooted in “fulfillment theology?” Or is there more to the story?
Core theological beliefs in the replacement of Israel seems to have some influence, but the main issue is the current political climate. Many people, including reformed folks, are liberal minded towards Israel without knowing it.
Why did James White and Doug Wilson feel the need to address this topic? In that discussion, James mentions that World War II centered on Jews being the culprit behind everything wrong with the world. The same sort of thing is out there on college campuses today and leaking into some churches.
A parallel to the young, restless and “deformed” movement. The same dynamic that has been at work over the last decade among some reformed believers concerning their hatred of Trump and their affinity for “wokeism and CRT.”
What can we learn from Hitler, the Nazis and World War II?
Having said everything we have said, does Genesis 12 have anything to say to us today?
Is there any relationship between Genesis 12 and the New Testament principle of loving our neighbor?
Inquisition: There are some guys that have mostly good teaching but have some ideas that aren't good. As an example: Al Mohler and John Piper. Should we stay away from everything they teach, or just be careful?
