David Burke, my Atown homie is a seasoned muralist and educator based in Oakland, California. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. This is the man that painted a mural of me on San Pablo ave & hwy 580. We recorded this episode in his studio in Oakland where he painted the Hieroglyphics mural with the Hungry Ghost studio crew. The Hungry Ghost crew consist of a diverse group of bay area mural painters; Joevic Yeban, & Pancho Pescador. Together they create large scale mural projects that transform public spaces. We discuss David's origin story and understand his talent shared amongst the public eye.
