This week we check in with Afro Latina song writer, corporate executive and non-profit owner Tracey Phipps! I have been chasing Tracey down to tell her story because I felt like it was so needed. In a world where people believe you need to own your own business to be successful, I wanted to show how Tracey leveraged corporate America to reach her goals. She didn't grow up with a sliver spoon and all the resources, she grew up with a single mother who stressed that there are no limits in life. Tracey got into retail at a young age and made a career of it. Now managing multiple stores across the US, pouring into our community, and expressing herself through music.
