Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate everything we're grateful for. 12 hours later, on Black Friday, strangers trample one another to get the new limited edition Stanley cup for 30% off. The overwhelming consumerism of the day brings out the worst in many of us, and the phenomenon has spread around the globe.
