This week's episode of the IndieGold Podcast features Jersey City blogger, Lynn Hazan aka Chicpea. For the last 2 years since her blog started she has became a staple in Jersey City. Teaching seminars in social media 101, and being on panels with Combat Jack and Nina Sky. Before all of this she was a wife, and a mother working in corporate America then one day she decided to quit her job and started a fashion/music/food blog which blew up in a year's time.

Within this new found fame she is met with harassment, scrutiny, and borderline stalking (mostly online). She covers the positive happenings in Jersey City, rather than the negative, which creates a perception that she favors downtown Jersey City which is gentrified. To my (Mr. B) knowledge she's been fair in her coverage. We talk a wide array of topics before we get into gentrification like the local hip hop scene, Meek Mill vs Drake, Wiz Khalifa vs Kanye, Anderson Paak signing to Aftermath and much more....enjoy
