In this episode, Mirza, a 3rd year medical student gives us a detailed overview of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). CKD is a disease characterised by gradual loss of kidney function over more than 3 months. As of 2018, there are currently more than 44,000 patients on dialysis in Malaysia according to the National Renal Registry which is more than 15% of the Malaysian population.
