The ups and downs of CRE are no different than normal residential real estate.  Sometimes is awesome, sometimes is blows chunks, and sometimes you question all of your life decisions.  I have been taking a beating the last few weeks on both of my deals, I go into detail on each building and how they've made my life fairly hellish.  

However, I know this is temporary, a lot of these are growing pains that come with valuable lessons.  And ultimately, this is the cost of doing business as a beginner in CRE.
