Linda Ahl holds a PhD degree from the Department of Mathematics and Science Education at Stockholm University, which she obtained in parallel with her teaching activity.

During her PhD, Linda worked on questions research focused on adult mathematical instruction, with a focus on assessment of prior knowledge and motivation, in the context of the Swedish prison system.
