The Covid-19 crisis is being felt by the Institute for Economic Empowerment of Women as they are having a hard time figuring out if a women empowerment conference will happen.
Karel Ford explains how prepared they are to hold a virtual conference with their women students from Rwanda, Afghanistan, and across the USA if things don’t change for the better in the coming weeks. She shares a few notes from both Rwandese and Afghan students proving that coronavirus is a global crisis. She talks about the state of businesses in Oklahoma and what their state government is doing to support them after the isolation period.
