Daniel is a private equity lawyer and is triple-qualified in Canada (Alberta and Ontario), England & Wales and the British Virgin Islands. He was born in Hong Kong, raised in Mississauga, Ontario, and proudly calls Canada his home.

He is currently working as a legal counsel at UBS in Singapore and is focusing on investment funds and asset management. He was previously an associate at an international offshore law firm in Singapore, legal counsel at a private equity firm in Hong Kong and an associate in an international law firm in Canada. Daniel graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts (H.B.A.) degree in political science and criminology. He subsequently completed his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree at the University of Birmingham (UK), his Post-Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at City, University of London (UK) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
